Acrylic and pencil on paper, 200 x 90 cm

This is one of the painting from my year 12 Visual Arts Body of Work. It is a series of work portraying the complexity and continuity of my imagination, through the abstract expression of tentacles and patterns, colours combination as well as the pencil mark.

Jockey Club Innovation Tower by Zaha Hadid, located in Hong Kong

Zaha Hadid is my favourite architect. Her designs are  futuristic and extraordinary. A lot of her works involve curving forms which is the reason why I like modern architecture.

Original photograph taken in Singapore

I took this photo last time I visited Singapore. I was drawn to attention by the fascinating shape of this flower. Instead of the usual circular shape of flowers, it has a narrow and elongated shape. It is also one of my inspiration for my other artworks I have done in the past.
